There's something almost "Tolkeinesque" about these doors. Perhaps they lead to Moria!

I had that same thought! The pastel colors on pillars and doors seem "aged" and mythical. Cool find!

They are so brilliant.This is an awesome image Brian, the colours are so complimentary. Just a little tidbit about Tolkein...he was born in South Africa......I just loved the fact that someone of such world renowned literary stature came from our humble little country on the tip of Africa!

Ken--they certainly did provide a striking subject! I did a little HDR processing to bring out the colors a little more. Mandy--Tolkien did indeed have an amazing life and South Africa was a huge influence on everything he did. He would not have become what he did without the influence of your gorgeous country. Lorraine--I've been incredibly busy with work-related items and travel. It's good to be back. I hope to be commenting on everyone's incredible pix later today.
