Global Lamp

I really like this lamp. It only looks old (it's about 10 years old), but I love the green oxide that covers it.

I like this too Brian...there's something comforting thinking that the 'world' won't fall out of the universe. The parliament buildings in Ottawa, here in Canada, have that same distinct oxidization of copper that really stands out amidst the surrounding scenery. Great shot.

Yes indeed! Lamps,pillars etc. that are this color green do give a strong sense of majesty and history! The more I look at these photos, it seems as if there is a large interaction between history and modern day architecture? The balance seems to be well done by city planners.

I can see why you love it Brian it has a lot of character. Really nice lighting on this one, adds a nice mood to the pic. I like the way the steps lead your eye up the right and the continuous lines on the wall on the left...really great comp.
