Tie D'Eye

This is a heavily processed(!) macro image of my daughter's eye. The moon image was taken with a webcam through my ETX telescope. I shrank the moon image and added it as another layer to the colorized eye.

AMAZING!! What a fantastic psychedelic experience.... my first reaction was whoaaaa look at the eye then I was immediately drawn in by the moon....I think adding the capture of the moon as a layer to the center of the eye really enhances the image to a different level. Did you find creating that layer an easy process to do?

LV--it's fairly simple to add the other layer--the trick is blending it in. Fortunately, the night sky and the eye's pupil are both black, so it was quite easy to add the moon in to the image.

I'm pretty dumb; I didn't see the moon until you pointed it out. I was busy being blown away by the colors and detail of your daughter's eye. Wasn't looking at the pupil. This is an incredible bit of processing; you have real art here Brian. This should be framed and hanging somewhere important.

Creatively rendered - there's so much interesting experimentation in photography. And using a telescope for astronomy shots is something I'd like to try too.
