Lost Valley from Kamloops, BC, CanadaThis is FANTASTIC! Did you do much pp to this? I really like the feel of this photo!! The waves against the shoreline was captured wonderfully! You really have a great balance of light in this photo! What an amazing picture!! 28 Aug 2007 5:58am ColNed Pictures from Amersfoort, NetherlandsCool shot, I like this one better.. it shows the POWER..... 28 Aug 2007 7:07am MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomA great shot! it really shows the power of nature in a beautiful way. 28 Aug 2007 9:17am Lorraine from CanadaOh Brian, moody and perfect...How extraordinary simplicity can be... 28 Aug 2007 9:55am Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesOh man! Great, great capture! I love weather like this. We've had boringly calm weather around here for too long. I want a small, manageable storm... 28 Aug 2007 11:24am Janice Thomson from Courtenay BC, CanadaI agree with the others - the atmosphere captured in this shot is wonderful Brian. 28 Aug 2007 2:09pm Brian from United StatesLV--I did very little PP on this image. I increased the saturation slightly and sharpened it. Other than that, it's pretty much what came out of the camera. It was a great experience to be caught up in this storm on the beach. It was actually very warm (about 85 degrees), and the sea was also pleasantly warm. What you don't see here is a group of surfboarders who were riding the waves a little further down the beach. 28 Aug 2007 2:43pm yiannis krikis from thessaloniki, Greecevery nice image, I like the "angry" sea and the clouds 28 Aug 2007 3:06pm Ian Bramham from Manchester, United KingdomDon't you think those fantastic clouds look just like a huge wave about to break onto the shore! 28 Aug 2007 3:23pm Amir from X, United StatesAnother great semi-HDR shot from you. Love overcast and dark skies. 28 Aug 2007 3:38pm Brian from United StatesIan--indeed they did look like that. I was surprised that they held no rain; they just swirled in the wind. 28 Aug 2007 3:40pm Brian from United StatesAmir--Thanks. The skies were a real inspiration that day. I wish I had carried a different (more capable) camera that day! 28 Aug 2007 3:44pm Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomThats great, the cloud is more like an incoming wave than the waves, superb. 28 Aug 2007 5:47pm Aayawa from Edinburgh, United KingdomThe picture grabs you by the... throat and says "look at me" 28 Aug 2007 7:04pm Rebel Szczesny from Big Apple - NYC, United StatesBeautiful composition.
