Golden Man

I found the Golden Man on a golden motorbike in 'downtown' Ft. Myers Beach. The whole place was pulsing with raw energy. Anything was possible--even a Golden Man. I wanted to capture that energy as best I could in this shot. I'm not sure it worked, but it was a worthwhile experiment.

Hamid--He did have a ghostly aspect to him. I was really quite taken aback when I first saw him. In fact, there were a number of "street performers," pretending to be statues, etc. It was quite unusual. There was hip-hop blasting and crowds milling. The Golden Man just seemed to be something that emerged from all that energy. Viewfinder--I like the idea of Goldman! Thanks to everyone else. I learn something every time I visit your pages!

As an abstract this does give the feel of energy and movement. Gold is a hard color to work with but this came through rather well. I would have loved to have seen the 'statues' :)
