ColNed Pictures from Amersfoort, NetherlandsI like this one very much..... great textures.. nice contrast between the colors 16 Aug 2007 6:58am Mike Raffan from Aberdeen, United Kingdomi would have liked to see a big glass building behind this, the brushed metal has to much contrast against a plain blue sky 16 Aug 2007 9:02am Shutterbug from Chennai, IndiaLove the texture on the metal, contrasts well with the sky 16 Aug 2007 9:17am Lost Valley from Kamloops, CanadaI really like the way you have captured the textures on the sculpture. The depth of the shadows are fantastic! 16 Aug 2007 1:32pm Janice Thomson from Courtenay BC, CanadaWow Brian...this is wonderful - the texturing on the triskellion is fantastic as well as the contrasting colors. 16 Aug 2007 2:42pm Brian from West Lafayette, United StatesMike--I tried to take this with the building behind, but the building is only 5 floors, so the top of the building bisected the pic of the sculpture. I could probably get the shot if I had a longer lens than my 200mm zoom. I did do some processing to darken the sky. In the original, it was rather milky and made the image look washed-out. 16 Aug 2007 4:10pm Betsy Barron : www.thebetsy.com from Glenmoore, United Statescool sculpture and nice capture! 16 Aug 2007 4:57pm tengtan from Melbourne, AustraliaA fine eye here for a selective geometrical abstract - bold and striking. 16 Aug 2007 7:13pm MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomWow! the textures on this sculpture are amazing! great capture Brian :) 16 Aug 2007 8:28pm Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomLove the metallic textures and the shading and colours 16 Aug 2007 8:47pm |
