Thanks for the kind comments, everyone. There is something a little frightening about being alone in the deep woods. When I took this image, the only sounds were the occasional bird call and the breeze in the trees. I wanted to capture just a hint of this atmosphere; I felt like an intruder in a world that preferred to be left to itself.
